In 1997 Romiley Board Mill complemented its converting operations by entering into the cardboard core market. With the installation of a C Perkin Tube production line supplying Carpet Cores to the carpet manufacturers and distribution markets. Since 2002 the Paper Tube Division had grown rapidly with the introduction of 9 further production lines serving sectors including the Tapes and Labels market, Polythene Extrusion, Postal and Packaging Industries along with Paper Mill Cores, Textile Cores and Roller Blind Cores. The operation now converts a large part of the board mill production and is currently one of the largest independent core and tube producing operations in the UK.
This growth has been driven by our strong partnership with our customers and a first class level of customer care, whilst offering an unrivalled quality and service for your everyday packaging requirements. Our pricing policy for our products is based around the core operation being situated on the mill site, ensuring our raw material is delivered to our production lines free of carriage this is complemented by our high speed production operation and highly experienced and motivated team of staff ensure our customers benefit not only from our quality and service but also enjoy some of the most competitive prices in the market place.
