We at Romiley Board Mill manufacture the strongest set of cardboard tubes for textiles and roller blinds on the market. They are another example of how our cardboard products are designed for the home as well as the office and factory.
Convolute tubes or spiral tubes?
As rolled up roller blinds are pretty heavy, convoluted tubes instead of spiral tubes are used. It’s high beam strength is in its construction: a single sheet of cardboard which glued together to make a tube. For heavy duty applications, it is unlikely to disintegrate compared with spiral tubes. Spiral tubes are best used for lightweight applications, like toilet tissue, cotton thread and aluminium foil.
What about dimensions and colours?
Our cardboard tubes for textiles and roller blinds are available in lengths ranging from 500 mm to 2,100 mm. The latter length is about the same width of many windows in modern-day homes and offices. You can have an inner diameter as thin as 25.4 mm, or as thick as 76 mm. The wall thickness can be as thin as 2 mm or as thick as 6 mm.
We also have a number of standard sizes as well as bespoke options. What’s more, your cardboard tubes for textiles and roller blinds are available in any colour with a choice of company logos. For further information, why not call us on 0161 430 6061. We shall get back to you as soon as possible.
